Lauren Hurd, MSOTR/L, CLT

 Lauren is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist trained in the Vodder Technique through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. After working as an OT in Skilled Nursing and Home Care settings, Lauren was thrilled to discover her niche treating and supporting patients with lymphatic conditions. Lauren specializes in the treatment of patients with nervous system dysregulation, chronic autoimmune conditions, Long Covid, Fibromyalgia, and CFS as well as Lymphedema, Lipedema, and post surgical/injury edema. Originally from Arlington, MA, Lauren has lived in Kittery with her family since 2016. Lauren opened Right Coast Rehab in 2023 and has enjoyed treating and supporting the lymphatic patient population. 

Jennifer Waddell is a Physical Therapist with 27 years of experience, including 25 years as a

Certified Lymphedema Therapist. She has a deep passion for helping patients through all stages

of their healing journey, with areas of specialization that include cancer rehabilitation,

post-reconstruction complications, and pelvic floor dysfunction.

In addition to her oncology and pelvic health work, Jennifer enjoys treating a wide range of

orthopedic conditions. She works with patients both pre and post operatively, as well as those

managing chronic pain, always focusing on improving movement and quality of life. A strong

advocate for patient education, Jennifer empowers individuals to understand their bodies and

actively participate in their wellness journey.

Originally from Aroostook County, Jennifer moved to the Seacoast with her family in 2010. She

now lives in South Berwick with her husband and their four children. Jennifer is excited to bring

her experience and dedication to Right Coast Rehab, where she looks forward to serving the

local community with compassionate, personalized care.

Occupational Therapy is more than a career for Lana. It is, as she calls it, “the golden thread of her life.” A legacy of service runs deep in her family; her grandmother founded a center for brain-injured children and later experienced the life-changing benefits of occupational therapy firsthand after surviving multiple strokes. Inspired by this profound familial impact and driven by a desire for deeply tactile, impactful work, Lana initially began her career as a mental health professional before transitioning to occupational therapy, a field that perfectly aligned her passion for holistic healing with her love for working with her hands.

Today, Lana specializes in lymphatic management, passionately believing that the lymphatic system is the most overlooked system in the human body. Her approach to Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) is uniquely informed by her lifelong experience as an equestrian. Training young horses requires immense physical intuition, high-level manual precision, and a deep sensitivity to subtle physiological feedback, skills that translate seamlessly into the nuanced, hands-on touch required for effective manual lymphatic drainage.

Lana’s diverse clinical background includes working at local hospitals and serving as an occupational therapist and clinical supervisor for OTD students at a therapeutic riding center. She remains a fierce advocate for the holistic roots of occupational therapy, helping clients find healing and systemic balance through meaningful engagement.

A Maine native, Lana lives an occupation-rich life deeply connected to nature. When she isn't working with her hands in the clinic, she can be found surfing year-round, training horses, volunteering with adaptive surfing organizations in the summer, snowboarding, or hiking and cycling with her father.
